Durjoy is a disabled young man of 21. He had a dream to be a painter from his very early age. About 10 years ago, a bus ran over him and he lost his hands. But determined Durjoy did not surrender to his fate. He started painting with his legs. A local NGO provided him with necessary support. Now he is a skillful painter and a member of IDPA (International Disabled People’s Association). He holds the paint brush skillfully with his toes and paints the canvas nicely. He has recently participated at a paint exhibition in Dhaka. Foreign delegates have praised his works highly. They have bought all his paintings and expressed their interest to buy his works in future. Some local organizations have also expressed their deep interest to make greeting cards, calendars etc. with his paintings. Durjoy now dreams to open an art school for the disabled children. He wishes to teach them how to live with dreams.

Casabianca was a little boy. He was only thirteen years old. Though he was a little boy, he was punctual and dutiful. His father was a military officer. One day Casabianca was in a ship with his father,’ The ship was suddenly attacked by the enemy. leis -father posted him at a place on the deck and told him not to move. The enemy killed his father. The ship’: went on fire. The boy kept standing on the burning ‘deck. Everybody fled from the fire. But Casabianca did not leave the place without his father’s order. He stood firm and waited for his father. He did not know that his father was lying dead. He called his father again and again. But no reply came. The flames of the fire soon covered him. ‘The boy stood firm and fell into death.
