Internet and social media have changed the public concept of communications. Social media; largely known as social networks, eased the way and frequency of communications among the people in the world. Social networking websites such as Facebook, Google+ or Twitter are widely popular among the people of all ages now-a-days. Social network services are web-based and hencen, provide ways for the users to interact through the Internet. Social websites make it possible to connect people sharing interests and activities across the borders and thus have turned the world into a global village, where the users of the networks are interconnected. These websites are gaining popularity with every passing day as most of them are free to use. Users do not have to pay anything to log in and to use the websites and get to know other people. The users only have to pay a little to the internet service provides to use their websites. The users through their personal profiles can present themselves before the world and advertise for themselves without any cost. By doing it, they can open the doors of opportunities for them, The users can even upload their pictures, multimedia contents and modify and update their profiles which was almost impossible just a couple of years back. They can also express their opinion or views on their profiles through blog posts with secured profile features. The users can decide who will be watching their profiles and who won’t and what information will be shared with any of the visitors. With these unique features the websites have become the most popular destination of the modern world.

Stephen Hawking is considered the greatest physicist after Einstein. He was born in England in 1942. He was skilled in mathematics from an early age. He wrote the book ‘A Brief History of Time: From the Big Bang to Present Times’ in 1988. In his book he explains cosmology for the general public. It became famous and established his reputation as a great scientist. He was famous for, his investigations into the origin of the universe. He received his Ph.D in cosmology from Cambridge University in 1968. But fortune did not favour him. In 1972 he became a victim of Georgia’s disease. Since then he has been confined to wheel chair with no power to control his body. But he continues his teaching through the help of computer. In 1974 he won prestigious ‘Albert Einstein’ Award for theoretical physics. In 1979, he joined Cambridge University as Lucasian Professor of Mathematics. He is still carrying out his research work using his computer.
